Wetsuit Care

1. After each use, always rinse off with fresh tap water.
2. It may be a good habit to wash your wetsuit with Wetsuit Shampoo (available in the store). When I say “wash” the suit, I mean by hand in your tub or laundry sink. This eliminates crystalized salt that usually is a culprit topremature neoprene deterioration. It reconditions the rubber and gets rid of the “ripe” smell of the wetsuit.
3. Let the suit drip dry in the shade and never in direct sunlight. Also, use a strong plastic hanger, drape the wet wetsuit over the bar at the waist much like a pair of trousers. Since a wet wetsuitis very heavy, hanging it in this way will prevent wear through in the shoulders.
